Shop Humphries’ Darts Range

Darts Corner has the ultimate Luke Humphries collection, stocked with darts across the TX1, TX4, TX5 and Prestige ranges, with variations in his preferred front-weighted, torpedo-style setup. These darts give players the choice to pick between different grip patterns, finishes and point systems, while keeping the compact feel associated with Luke’s signature equipment.

What Darts Does Luke Humphries Use?

Luke Humphries currently uses the Red Dragon TX1 Switch Point darts in matches. These have a 90% tungsten torpedo barrel and are front-weighted, with a multi-ring grip. This matches his relaxed throwing style because the weight of the dart helps it fly smooth and straight. The medium grip also means that he can hold the dart securely but not too tightly. It’s this dart that helps reinforce the “Cool Hand” style he’s known for.

More About Humphries

Humphries was born in Reading in February 1995, where his father gave him the name Luke as an acronym for “Leeds United, Kings of Europe”. His father played county darts for Berkshire, inspiring a young Cool Hand to throw his first darts, and he began playing competitively at around 15 years old.

After joining the Development Tour, Humphries won five titles in 2017, topping the Development Tour Order of Merit. This qualified him for the 2018 PDC World Darts Championship and earned him a PDC Tour Card for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. He went on to win a PDC Challenge Tour title in Event 12 and then added three more titles to his name during the 2018 Development Tour, once again topping the Order of Merit.

His career took a leap forward in 2023 when he grabbed victories at the World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts and the Players Championship Finals, which set him up for what is hailed as the greatest 12 months in darts history. In 2024, Humphries defeated Luke Littler 7-4 to win the PDC World Championship, landing himself tournament prize money totalling £500,000.

After becoming the PDC World Champion, Humphries went on to compete in even more big games. He played the World Matchplay, World Cup of Darts and the Darts Premier League, soon establishing himself as one of the best players of this generation.

About Luke Humphries Darts

The Luke Humphries range is all based around his signature style of compact tungsten barrels with clear grip zones and forward-leaning balance. Despite this, there is still a lot of choice and variety for players to opt for different grip levels, point flexibility and visual detailing throughout the range.

TX1 Darts

The TX1 should be your go-to if you want a set of darts that are closest to what Luke Humphries uses. These darts have a 90% tungsten torpedo barrel with a naturally front-weighted feel and mid-level grip, and are suited to players who prefer a compact dart profile and hold towards the front of the dart.

TX4 Darts

The TX4 is another 90% tungsten option with a torpedo-style barrel and a front-weighted profile. The difference between the TX4 and the TX1, besides the colour scheme and styling, is that the TX4 has a square-groove grip pattern, providing enhanced grip strength and feel. It’s a solid choice for players who still enjoy a compact dart but with an increased grip strength.

TX5 Darts

With the TX5, you can get the classic torpedo-style barrel that Humphries’ darts are known for, but with a hex milling grip so you can hold it more securely. It’s great if you want the front-weighted smooth flight, but want to feel it firmer in your fingers as you throw.

Prestige Darts

If you’re a big fan of Humphries’ World Championship win, the Prestige dart is the best set to celebrate it. It has his signature 90% tungsten, front-weighted torpedo barrel and milled grip, but is also finished with a gold ‘#1’ engraving. This is the go-to dart for Humphries fans.

Best Moments & 9-Dart Finishes

In recent years, Luke Humphries has been one of the biggest players in darts. He’s had so many memorable moments, such as his win at Alexandra Palace in January 2024 where he beat Luke Littler and became the PDC World Champion.

He’s also hit three televised nine-darters. His first came against Rob Cross in the 2025 Premier League in Brighton, sending the crowd wild. His second came later that year at the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts, where he sealed a 5-3 win over Michael Smith with a nine-darter, turning the match around after Smith had the upper hand early on. His third followed at the 2026 World Masters against Luke Woodhouse, the first nine-darter ever hit on the new Winmau board.
